I know that it’s been a while. To be honest, July was a bit crazy so that draft never got posted. When it comes to August, my birthday month, things weren’t as bad and ended on a pretty high note. So, here is my Playback to close out the Summer…
But first, the Music!
A lot of great music has come out in the last month or so. One of those being the return of my Ult Bias Group (K-Pop lingo) Monsta X. This is their first release as a full group in about 2 years or so. Of course, I have been obsessed with the entire album and all the visuals that have come with it.
I ordered my first album in YEARS so an unboxing and full album review is coming soon!
Also, Luke Christopher has been dropping a new single every week for the last several weeks, and no misses, per usual.
And another Fav (THE FAV) Maurice Moore is about to drop new music soon, and y’all should already know I am anxiously waiting on that one. I also recently got early access to the upcoming single, as well as some unreleased things. And, again, I don’t think you all understand how special this man is.
Anime & K-Drama Things…
Believe it or not, I have been binging a lot of shows on Netflix lately. It’s been a while and I didn’t get a chance to come on here and review anything (my bad lol). So, to try to sum all of this up…
I binged Squid Games in 2 days lol. Yes, I watched K-Pop Demon Hunters and am obsessed with the soundtrack. I just finished the Korean Psychological Thriller Trigger (a MUST WATCH and I may still do a review on that one), I am currently watching the Animes Sakamoto Days and DanDaDan, and I am waiting for Season 3 of Alice in Borderland (coming at the end of this month)… I think that’s it.
And Yea, Wrestling *Sighs*
I wish I knew how to truly explain what I feel right now when it comes to Wrestling. WWE has been a bit disappointing (still), but I do still have my favorite wrestlers that I try to keep up with. I do need to watch other promotions more. Thank God for Ase Wrestling, a black promotion that’s TRULY For the Culture.

And even though I do want to attend more Live events, I am torn a bit when it comes to giving these people my money. They continue to prove that they no longer care about the dedicated fans. They only want celebrities, influencers, and/or people with money and clout. Bringing in older wrestlers is not just for Nostalgia; it’s a money grab, capitalizing off that nostalgia that keeps us tuned in.

I am currently waiting on my Monsta X album, so I will be recording an Unboxing video very soon. It’s been a long time since I’ve done an album unboxing, so I’m excited to share that with you all. The goal is to go to at least once concert and/or one more wrestling event before 2025 is over. After this last (short) trip for my birthday, I realize that I need to get away more, even if it’s a quick weekend trip.
