It has taken me longer than usual, I feel, to finally get this post and video up for this concert experience. But Monsta X is the first K-Pop group I ever stanned, my first ever K-Pop concert, and we were waiting 4 years for this tour. My feelings run a lot deeper for this group than any other group I have become a fan of over these last 7 years of being a K-Pop fan. So this has also been the worst case of Post Concert Depression that I have had.
My Experience
I have been second-guessing myself with this video. I recorded it the day after I got back from Texas and was still very emotional about it all. They all come and go so fast, and I haven’t been able to go to multiple shows. So, I was having a hard time adjusting to being home and trying to put my experience and emotions into words.
(If you skip to my poorly recorded concert footage then I understand lol)
It’s hard to pick a favorite moment from this concert. They played a lot of older songs that I wasn’t really expecting like: “Oh My”, “Rodeo”, “Alligator”, and “Shootout”. The VCRS (Videos shown during breaks) were so good, especially the one they had of I.M. performing since he couldn’t join the tour due to his military enlistment (being discharged in August 2027). And I have to mention the outfits, which are always stunning on them.
Since this was my first time being at this venue, I wasn’t sure what to expect with the setup and view from the floor seats. While we were really close, I am really short and had the girls in front of me hold their phones over their heads most of the time. I was able to switch with my friend to get a somewhat better view, but it was still a struggle. Luckily, the guys kept coming to our side, so I was able to see them up close, and a possible interaction from my Bias, Joohoney 🙂

It’s always such a bittersweet experience for me. I love planning my outfit, the trip, and counting down the days. Then it gets here and feels like it’s over just like that.
Final Thoughts! (aka Regrets)
I hate that I always leave concert experiences with some type of regret. Most of the time, I make my decisions based on my comfortability and my finances. I’ve had tough times and would rather not go back there because of a concert. BUT I regret not making my initial concert outfit work (I was feeling self-conscious), not making a sign, not getting VIP (very expensive, taking my friend into consideration as well), and not going to another tour stop (money and more PTO from work).
If I went to more concerts by myself then I don’t think I’ve to worry as much, but it is more fun to go with friends, when you can. I have had some amazing VIP experiences when going by myself. I know that I can’t take any of it back and I don’t want to sound ungrateful for even getting the opportunity to go at all. Every concert I’ve gone to this year was amazing; Monsta X was definitely my favorite.
Next year, though, I’m going to be ready 🙂
