Muzik Junqie Update! Spring Recap!

Other than posting about my recent fangirl adventures, I know that I haven’t been on here to post much. I have been posting the occasional unboxing video on my YouTube channel, though. But, other than that, I know that I just haven’t been posting like I used to. The recent personal changes in my life are still taking a HUGE toll on me, my mental, and my creative/ writing process.

Music That I Have Been Enjoying 😊

My music taste has still been really all over the place. I bounce from playlist to playlist most days, especially during work, depending on my mood or where my head is. Two of my favorite playlists lately are my “Beast Mode” playlist that has a lot of my favorite WWE wrestlers’ entrance music on it; good for getting pumped up in the mornings. And the other being a mixture of newer/ up and coming R&B Favs, like Luke Christopher and Maurice Moore (who I have been a fan of for YEARS).

Maurice Moore

Of course, I go back to some of my K-Pop favs, when I’m not discovering new songs on TikTok. We got some new solo releases from Monsta X’s I.M and KARD’s BM. So, I have been enjoying those. But, at the end of the day, I have just been going with the flow, and listening to music that helps me get through each day. So far, it’s been working.

My Next Concert Adventure!

With so many tours being announced, I wish that I had more plans than I do currently. And to be honest, I am still not sure if I want to go to the one that I actually have planned. I recently bought a ticket to see Monsta X’s I.M. on his first solo tour, when he comes to Dallas, Texas in August. Since we aren’t supposed to get any Monsta X group activities until 2025, I was excited to see this; that is, until I bought the ticket.

I have so many reasons as to why I have some doubts about this (and my overall view of concerts):

  • The ticketing process is getting more and more ridiculous, not to mention the insane prices for some of these shows.
  • A lot of these shows are general admission, and I am not always in the mood to have to wait in line all day just to get a good spot (if I don’t have VIP or something).
  • Traveling to Texas (from Louisiana) for these shows is tiring and takes a lot out of me.
  • I am starting to realize what I would rather spend my money on (a nice, relaxing vacation, or maybe even a big WWE event, with VIP, because that just makes more sense to me these days).
  • Not all fans are fun to be around.

On a brighter note, I did purchase the physical copy of I. M’s latest album, so of course I had to record an unboxing. Check out the video below!

The Process… Back to the Drawing Board!

To be honest, I have been focusing more on getting back to all of the things I enjoyed before some tough experiences altered the way that I live my life. I am also trying to have new experiences when I am able to. It kind of started earlier this year when I went to a couple of WWE Live events, and I am hoping to go to many more. And based on a new (healthy) obsession, and rabbit hole, I am plotting on (maybe) my first F1 race.

A recent discovery made me want to look more into the iconic F1 racer Lewis Hamilton, so that’s where we are lol. They are actually having a race in Texas in October, so I am doing as much research as I can to see if it’s something that would be possible, and fun, to go to. So, if I can share new experiences like that, then that will be the “content”. But, as for any other “planned” content, I am still unsure what direction I want to go in.

It’s all trial and error right now, but I hope ya’ll stick it out with me 😊
