Must Watch List! New Music Videos Ft. Bruno Mars & Cardi B. New Single “Please Me”

I always go back and forth when it comes to music videos. When I was younger I was obsessed with keeping up with new videos, especially when MTV and BET used to air blocks of videos regularly. Those blocks turned into more reality shows (unfortunately) and Youtube became the place to watch music videos so I went to that.  But even when I am not always checking for new videos, some of my favorites come out with some dope music with the visuals to match…

Bruno Mars & Cardi B. “Please Me”

So, it took me a few listens (and this video) to get me really into this song. Right away, other than Bruno, I love the 90’s R&B vibe; which is pretty similar to the “Finesse” (remix) that these two are on together. What really made this video for me was Bruno’s dancers, who are also known at The TRYBE, and a few of them belong to the world famous dance group the Jabbawockeez. The video definitely makes the song for me. Check it Out!

MiC LOWRY – Please Me RMX (Cardi B X Bruno Mars X Dru Hill)

I haven’t been posting about these amazing guys right here, but let’s see if we can change that. So, MiC Lowry did a remix and video for Bruno & Cardi’s “Please Me”. And as always, their cover is pretty much better than the original (sorry not sorry). The video is so simple and fun, but their voices are the star for sure!

J.Cole – “Middle Child”

Cole is just my favorite rapper right now and his features alone are killing everything else. His recent single has been on repeat for me since it dropped. And Of course everyone, bloggers and fans alike, has an opinion about the song and video, trying to read more into it. But to anyone who though he wasn’t going to come for the jugular were sadly mistaken, again.

J. Cole Live from NBA All Star Weekend

Ever since seeing J. Cole live, I haven’t been the same LOL. His live presence brings his music to life in such a dope way. And his live performance during Halftime at NBA All-star Weekend a few weeks ago proves that; and I wasn’t even there. Also, this was in his city, so you know he had to show out.

Ari Lennox ft. J.Cole “Shea Butter Baby”

I really didn’t meant to have so many J. Cole videos on here LOL. But with this one, I need ya’ll to pay attention to Ari Lennox. She is signed to Dreamville and definitely holds her own among the many guys in the lineup. This song is on the Creed II soundtrack and is one of my favorite slower tracks on it.
