The Power of Pause: October Mental Health Check-In!

October is already gone and another month closer to a new year. It feels like the months have just flown by after my birthday back in August. And to be completely real with you all, this has been the hardest 2 months I’ve had in a while. I have been struggling so much mentally, and it’s been harder to shake this time.

want to constantly write and create, but I haven’t had the energy or motivation to do it. Obviously, I won’t go into detail, since it’s a lot of personal things and feelings that I am sorting through. But I just hope that those of you who may be going through the same thing, keep going, keep pushing. You are not alone and it will get better, or we will at least learn to manage it all better.

New Music & Updates

Wonho released his first full length album. I did pre-order it so I am currently waiting on that to come, so expect an unboxing soon! Unfortunately, his US tour was recently cancelled. I already had my tickets purchased and was planning my trip to Dallas, until his record label posted a statement about the tour cancellation for the US. I’m still sad about it, but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.

Enough about that, let’s get into some of these new releases…

Wonho – “If You Wanna”

Luke Christopher – “WIld Horses”

Psychic Fever – “Swish Dat”

Highlight – “Rainbow”

DEAN – “Nocturne 07 (for aerse)” featuring Miso

My First Animeverse x Wrestleverse Fest!

As someone who was used to always going to concerts, festivals, wrestling shows, etc… It’s been weird to just not be able to attend anything. Other than not being in the best position financially, a lot of things don’t come to Louisiana. Most things I ama excited about don’t come this way but will go to Texas a good amount of the time. Yes, Texas is right there, but a lot goes into planning a trip like that.

Anyway, enough about that, this experience worked out so much better than I thought. The general admission tickets were inexpensive (compared to a lot of other things I’ve attended). The real money is spent on merch, autographs, and photo ops with the special guests. From the beginning, my plan was to meet Killer Kross (aka Karrion Kross in WWE) and Scarlett Bourdeaux.

I did get to meet them, as well as Scott Steiner.

It was all such a cool experience. And it was even cooler to experience it all with my boyfriend who is a fan of these things and people too. For more on the experience, check out my latest video below 😊

Final Thoughts!

Remember to take care of yourselves, especially with the Fall season upon us. Seasonal depression is very real, so remember to take your vitamins, rest when possible, stay hydrated, and enjoy the people and things that make you feel safe and happy. There is nothing wrong with taking care of YOU first. Everything and everyone else can wait.
