Happy Monday! I am so happy to be back and bringing you guys a Music Crush Monday post. If you have been keeping up with some of my favorites from the past month or so, you should have noticed that I watch a lot of YouTube videos. Many of my current favorites came from me watching those videos. Also, I have already told you about 3 of my favorite singer/ songwriters who have been killing the game of covers.
Today I want to introduce you to 2 more young talented singers who are doing the same thing. They are 18 year old Ar’mon Warren and 17 year old Trey Traylor. These brothers from Pontiac, Michigan have been gaining attention on social media for… I’m not really sure how long now. But they were primarily known from their Vine account.
I believe that they pretty much just started their YouTube channel and posting videos of their covers. The first video I watched, I instantly got chills. Their voices and vocal range is insane. Their personalities also draw you in because they’re cute, funny, and very animated when they sing.
Ar’mon and Trey definitely remind me of when Alex Aiono and William Singe collaborate. Though they have very strong voices separately, they do not compete with each other. They harmonize together perfectly and don’t outshine one another in the process. It really is awesome to see and hear.
The brothers dropped a new video on Saturday and it’s amazing as usual. You can tell that they are raising the bar a bit with their background setting. Check out the video (below) and you’ll see what I mean by that. I am looking forward to what else they have in store for us in the near future, especially since under their most recent they said that they will be posting new videos once a week. They also kind of teased a possible collaboration with Alex Aiono. That will definitely make for awesome music.
