I’m very excited about my MCM today… Aaron Carter 🙂 He brings me back to the time when I was a pre-teen/ teenager and listening to boy bands and going to concerts. Yes I’m fan-girling a little bit right now LOL.. Let’s just say that he was Justin Bieber before Justin Bieber… Look it up… But understand this, there is a big difference between the two.
For those of you who may not know, Aaron is the younger brother of Nick Carter, member of the Backstreet Boys. He made his first solo appearance when he was 9 years old, opening up for the Backstreet Boys in 1997. Soon after, he would release his first single, “Crush On You”.
His first full-length album “Aaron Carter” came out Dec 1, 1997. The album wasn’t officially released in the United States until June of 1998. His next album, Aaron’s Party (2000), was released in the United States under the Jive Label. The album went triple-platinum.
At 13, Aaron released “Oh, Aaron” (Aug. 2001) which featured a duet with his brother Nick. “Oh, Aaron”.
Aaron’s next album, “Another Earthquake” was released in September 2002. His most Requested Hits album was released November 2003. The collection included tracks from his last three albums as well as a new single, “One Better”.
Now, at age 28, after dealing with typical music industry drama that included his then management and his parents. He has grown and become more understanding of his overall situation. And even though he has been receiving some backlash on his recent Political views, new tattoo, and other things, he has been relentlessly working on his “comeback” with this new album that may drop later this year. He has really been through a lot in his young life and career. I really wish the best for him though. I can’t wait for the album and hope to catch him when tours.
