Music Crush All Day Everyday! Luke Christopher Drops Debut Studio Album TMRW FRVR!

Happy Monday! I am back with a Music Crush for you guys! If you have kept up with me then the name Luke Christopher should be very familiar to you. Compared to a lot of his “die-hard” fans I can’t categorize myself as a “Day 1” but I have been a fan for almost 3 years now. I saw his video for “Ms. Holy Water” and as soon as the video was over, I found and downloaded everything he had out at the time.

Luke is one of those artists who inspires me and definitely holds a special place in my heart. The fact that he is still so young but so knowledgeable and passionate about music and wanting to make sure that it’s as authentic as he can make it. He has wanted complete creative control from Day 1 and I am happy that the label he is under let him do just that. It’s hard NOT to relate or feel something when you listen to an artist who you know put his full self into the music.

I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I have listened to this album since it came out on Friday (July 28th). So far, though, this album has calmed me down to and from work, when I’m trying to work on things at home, and even to help me relax enough to sleep. Luke and his music is one of the biggest reasons I have been able to work on my projects even with all of the stressful things happening in my life right now. That is probably the best way for me to describe his impact on how I feel about things.

A Brief Look at His Music Up Until Now…

Since before and after I started following Luke Christopher, he has dropped several mixtapes and several singles. All of his music was not hard to find and an many cases for free. Free or not, I know his other fans (along with myself) were willing to pay for his music anyway. He was worth it and deserved the love and support. Honestly, I feel better giving him my money than a lot of these other artists who are out and seem to forget where there “fame” came from.

*It means Tomorrow Forever by the way*

Now let’s get to this album! One of the things that I love about this album is that it has a lot more songs about relationships than I thought it would. And it’s not your typical “love songs” or even “break-up songs”. To me, his songs seem so much more relatable and genuine than overly dramatic just for the sake of the song, you know? Whether these songs are based on things he’s been or is going through, or based on people he knows, I can feel it all. Some of those songs are: “Waterfalls”, “Can’t Sleep”, “Other Beds”, “Heartbreak Fiction”, and “Pretend”.

Other than all of the new, original, and amazing songs on this record, I was ecstatic to see that pulled a song from his older music catalog, “Heartbreak Fiction”. I remember falling in love with this song the second I heard it on Soundcloud. The song is just as its title suggests, a story about heartbreak. It’s such a real, deep song; you’ll have to listen to it to really get a feel for the meaning behind it.

A few of my favorite tracks are “Lost”, “Waterfalls”, “Other Beds”, “Selfless”, and “Small Town”. And just for the record, that does not mean that I don’t like the other songs. Those were just the tracks that stood out to me the most. Like for “Other Beds”, the melody and hook are so catchy so it’s hard not to get hooked on it. When it comes to “Small Town” it’s a super relatable song for me. I am from a small town and have always had big dreams to make it in a large city and be able to pursue my dreams around people who share the same passions.

Final Thoughts!

I have so much love for Luke Christopher as an artist, fellow music lover, and dope human being. And the fact that he has shown me so much love on social media makes me love him even more. Don’t get it twisted, though, I would still promote him and his music even if he didn’t acknowledge or interact with me. Don’t forget, I am a FanGirl so when my favorite artist notices me and takes time to respond, how am I supposed to act?! LOL

Just like I have said to him several times, I am so proud of him for where he is in his career. He has definitely put in the work and this album is still only the beginning for him. He has already mentioned wanting to tour so that he can see his fans so you I will be keeping you guys updated on that. If he comes to Louisiana then I will lose it but I am still willing to travel to see him (of course).

  1. Good day! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog.
Is it very hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out
pretty quick. I’m thinking about creating my own but
I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any ideas or suggestions?
    Many thanks
