What’s up? It time for another FanGirl Update! This update will pretty much focus on my favorite artists who do amazing cover/ mashup videos on social media and Youtube. Lately, everyone has been covering Luis Fonsi’s song “Despacito” featuring Justin Bieber, along with DJ Khaled’s hit song “Wild Thoughts” featuring Rihanna and Bryson Tiller. I can’t blame them, though, because those are two of the hottest songs right now, other than DJ Khaled’s other hit “I’m the One”. Social media tends to become saturated when everyone does the same song or songs, though.

New Cover/ Mashup by William Singe… With an Alex Aiono Cameo!
So, about a couple of weeks ago, Will dropped a video on Youtube where he did a cover of DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thoughts” that features Rihanna and Bryson Tiller. He also covered Santana’s “Maria, Maria”, which is the sample used in “Wild Thoughts” (if you have never heard Santana’s song then please listen to it, especially if you like Khaled’s song). As always, Will killed this! Between his smooth vocals, impressive falsetto, and sexy vibes that he gives while singing this, I don’t know how you would NOT like this.

Then earlier yesterday, after teasing fans, Will and Alex put up a Cover/ Mashup video together on Will’s page. They did Daniel Caesar’s “Get You”. I have honestly just really started to hear this kid’s name so I will definitely be checking him out to what he’s about, especially after this song. Will sounded amazing, Alex sounded amazing, and they just sound perfect together. And, even though I feel like a broken record, I feel like Alex’s voice is getting stronger and stronger. I’m just so proud of the two of them and love seeing their friendship on social media and during their duets on Youtube.

Michael Constantino Does Justin Bieber Mashup!
I have definitely become a big fan of this cutie since I first heard of him and got to do a little write-up about him. If you haven’t read my article about him, please go and check it out ASAP. He really is amazing and is starting out like a lot of my favorite musicians, doing covers & mashup videos on social media and Youtube. And even though a lot of artists are going that route, Michael is still very unique with it all.
But what I really want to talk to you guys about today is his newest cover/ mashup video. Michael joins Frankie V at JAMN 95.7 again where he sings Justin Bieber songs over the music for “Despacito” (my favorite song out right now). Again, I was very impressed with the whole mashup. I don’t know what it is about him that sets him apart for me but it could be his personality and attitude while singing. He’s great tho!

New Fav Boyband Next Town Down Drops New Cover Video!
I just finished watching the video and I am honestly SHOOK right now! These boys are so talented, like REALLY talented. All of them can sing whether it’s individually or together. The boys covered DJ Khaled’s hit “Wild Thoughts” and let me start by saying that the video was so cute and fun. The vibe was there and the way they were interacting with each other was adorable. I knew they could sing but they just raised the bar a bit more with this one. I really hope that they are one of the boy groups that make it so the world gets a chance to see what boybands used to be and should be.

Something New & Fun from Brothers Ar’mon & Trey!
So, I know I haven’t talked about them in a while and my reasons are a little silly so I’ll just keep that to myself. But I am glad to finally be talking about them again. They dropped a Youtube video where they did a mashup of DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thoughts” and “I’m the One”, Migos’ “Slippery”, and Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito”. They really impressed me with this one, for sure.
Ar’mon and Trey’s voices are still amazing and shock me still. Their personalities and playfulness while singing and bouncing off of each other is cute. What really got me, though, was that they sang a lot in Spanish while putting their own spin to it. It’s easy for everyone to cover popular songs but you have to put your own flavor on it and the boys definitely did that.
