So it’s Monday and I am back with another music favorite…
Logic aka Young Sinatra
This 26 year old out of Maryland has really caught my attention as of late. Now, I have always heard his name and heard bits and pieces of his music. Then I decided to try out his most recent album The Incredible True Story released last year in 2015. Dude is crazy talented! I love rappers who you know aren’t trying to be anything else but themselves.The music keeps your attention and the skits in between songs are hilarious!
After listening to that album several times, I went back to the album he released in 2014 called Under Pressure. I fell in love with that album as well. It has a similar vibe to The Incredible True Story but not to the point where you think it all just sounds the same. They’re the same but different at the same time. He also has about 4 mixtapes he released between 2010-2013, and I am still working on becoming familiar with them.
He is definitely a real lyricist and story teller. I love those two qualities in rappers. It makes listening to their music a real experience. Music should take you to a different place for a brief moment in time.
