So… You guys are probably going to be seeing me talk about this guy a lot. I will try to keep my fan-girling to a minimum but I am just so excited about Zayn and his new music.
The album comes out this Friday, March 25th. Of course I pre-ordered the album a while back on ITunes and about 4 songs have been made available: His 1st two singles “Pillowtalk” and “It’s You”… Along with two new songs “Like I Would” and “BeFour”. I have been listening to those songs non-stop (Don’t Judge Me! LOL). They are just so good and he has an amazing and powerful voice. Not to mention he’s been working with Frank Ocean’s producer Malay (Shout out to you Malay for real!).
I’ve also been doing some digging on One Direction and Zayn individually. I was never a HUGE One Direction fan but mainly because I was thinking I’ll leave this boy band thing to the younger girls, not saying that I didn’t jam to their songs on the radio. So, lately I’ve been playing catch up. Zayn has had that special something from the very beginning, from him auditioning for X Factor UK singing “Let Me Love You” to his music we’re hearing now.
Zayn has become one of those artists who give me chills when I listen to their music. In his music I can feel a Frank Ocean/ Miguel/ Justin Timberlake (20/20 Experience) vibe so far. He is definitely going to be unique and not comparable once the album drops and he gets even more exposure than he already is. The timing for him just seems so perfect right now.
